Summary of the role Responsible for assigned client contract execution. From Booking to
Final document Submission to Client (All documentation).

Key Responsibilities and
Accountabilities

  • Person in charge of shipment follow up to designated forwarders.
  •  In charge in preparation of all shipping documents and dispatches with 10 days after vessel sail
  • In charge of direct Ugacof sales contracts and all sensitive clients/destinations that require prompt documentations i.e. India, Korea, Sudan, China etc.
  • Weekly Invoice posting and PURs Generation
  • Update Ugacof clients on shipment status, issue invoices and follow up payment status
  • Ensure update of SOL/UOL loading details and movement of stock to warehouses
  • Build relationships with documentation authorities i.e. Ministry of Agriculture for phytosanitary, URA for preferential certificates etc and update Supervisor on any changes, challenges and innovative solution
  • Reconcile UCDA documents and check/confirm CESS invoices
  • To place booking on Cargo, shipping line websites (then link to Cargo, follow up on ground picked containers and maintain data
  • Support managers with any other related duties as required

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a focus on Logistics,
    Business Administration.
  • Other certifications are a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 year working experience.
  • Experience in Logistics / coffee industry is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Good experience in working with data, modelling.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of collaborative tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.)  Cargo, Power BI as a plus.

Languages

  • Fluent spoken English, and the languages of the area of operation.
  • Any other language is a plus
